Ben has been supplying Boston restaurants with wild mushrooms for over 30 years. "Ben grew up in Newton, where he started identifying and picking mushrooms as a boy. Encouraged by his mom and friends who forested his interest in science and nature, Ben became engrossed in his hobby. He'd pick mushrooms on the way home from school, take them home, and cook them as a snack. Early on Ben delivered mushrooms to restaurants by subway. Over time, his business grew. He now deals with wild mushrooms he has foraged himself, mushrooms foraged by gatherers he knows all over the world, and cultivated.

Porcini conserva with fonduta

Fresh mozzarella “sticks” with chicken mushroom confit




Beet tagliatelle with a ragu of mushrooms and local carrots




Smoked king oyster steak and potatoes with mushroom bordelaise
